The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) recommends that people with severe mental health needs should be supported by community services. According to NICE guidelines, the views of service users should be used to monitor and improve services. In 2018, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) conducted a survey of nearly 13,000 adults using community care and support services to gather feedback and improve services at both a local and national level.
The survey highlighted that people receiving care from community mental health services do not always feel involved in decisions about their own care, despite the NICE's guidance of involving patients in shared decision making and agreeing on care plans jointly with mental health and social care practitioners. One positive finding from the survey was that fewer people are being sent out of their local area for acute care.

At Endear Solutions Ltd, we have considered the published trends and tailored a framework that supports service users to become more independent and involved in the formulation of their care plans. Our focus is on meeting the specific needs of each individual, and we work closely with social care agencies to ensure that the well-being of our service users is always a top priority. We primarily offer personal care, aiming to combat discrimination and promote independence. We also assist service users with managing their health and accessing the community. From developing coping strategies to managing medication and attending appointments, we help our service users to build a social life, regain employment, and improve their overall health and well-being. Our approach to care is person-centred, which allows our clients to measure their own progress with the support of their key workers and support staff.

Our review and evaluation processes are integral to our service delivery. We use outcome measures to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of our service. Our interventions are personalised and holistic, taking into account the personal goals of our service users, whilst collaborating with kinship carers and our statutory partners. Client views inform the outline of their care plans. This flexible approach ensures that we can tailor our services to meet each person's needs, while enabling us to monitor the quality of our service and treatment. Ultimately, our goal is to empower our service users to take control of their lives and establish hope for a better future.
